Caitlin

Caitlin is a sociable 14 year old girl with a big compassionate heart, and an easy smile. She enjoys singing, and is quite good at it. She is fearless, which can be seen from her love of roller coasters, traveling and gymnastics. Her mixed ancestry consists of Chinese, Vietnamese, and white.
September 2018 Update: Caitlin received her transplant in January of 2017. A thriving high school student, she is a passionate advocate for others who are going through their cancer journey.
December 2018 Update: Caitlin continues to do well and will soon be celebrating her 2 year transplant anniversary. Now a Freshman in high school, Caitlin has been involved in many activities and enjoys traveling. She has been particularly active in supporting other pediatric patients as well as raising awareness about blood diseases through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and City of Hope, where she received her transplant. This year, she was chosen to be in the New Year's Rose Parade for the City of Hope float.
