Tania

Picture
Tania Gill is a fourth year medical student at Ohio State University. On January 10th 2019, while at home with her family in Los Angeles, Tania was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) after she noticed some abnormal bruising. Days later, she was admitted to City of Hope Hospital where she started chemotherapy. She's currently doing well and is responding to the chemo. However, her particular kind of AML cannot be cured with chemotherapy alone. She will need a stem cell transplant in order to be cured.
